Terms and Conditions for the Campaign The “ဒိုင်အိချိနဲ့အမြဲအတူ ဆုတွေယူ” Lucky Draw Program (hereinafter referred to as the Campaign) is a program which is organised by Daiichi Life Myanmar (hereinafter referred to as Daiichi Life), and the program period is from 1st January to 31st December 2024. Participants must purchase any life insurance of Daiichi Life Myanmar ( Daiichi Life Pro, Daiichi Health CARE, Daiichi Active Care, Htar-Wa-Ra Edu Goal, Daiichi Credit Life) from 1st January to 31st December 2024 with latest policy issue date: 31st January 2025. One Lucky Draw Ticket will be entered for the customers for every initial premium 500,000 MMK IP per Policy & Payment Mode of Annual & Semi Annual Only. If the participant becomes the lucky draw winner of Quarter 1, he or she will also be entitled to be a winner for the remaining quarters. Lucky Draw Winners will be chosen every three months. If the customer purchase a policy between January and March, one lucky draw ticket will be entitled to four chances to win. If the customer purchase a policy between April and June, the ticket will be entitled to three chances to win. If the customer purchase a policy between July and September, the ticket will be entitled to two chances to win. If the customer buy a policy between October and December, the ticket will get one chance to win.  Employees of partners and Daiichi Life employees who purchased with staff discounts in this campaign will not be eligible to participate in the lucky draw program. Claimed policies for Death/TPD will no longer be eligible for the remainder of the lucky draw program. Any lapsed or surrendered policy by Life Insured will disqualify eligibility of the policy for all next period of the Lucky Draw Campaign. Lucky Draw Winners’ selection will be held in June 2024, September 2024, December 2024 and March 2025 after the end of each quarter to allow for the clearing of all Free Look Policies. In the event of any dispute arising from this program, the decision of Daiichi Life Myanmar shall be final.  Terms and Conditions for the Lucky Draw Winners If the lucky draw winner does not claim the prize,  it cannot be exchanged for cash. The winner must acknowledge the prize within (14) days after the winner’s announcement. Daiichi Life Myanmar will arrange to receive the prize. The winning ticket can be transferred to another person if the winner is unable to travel.(The location of tour package cannot switched to another destination.) If the lucky draw winner lives outside of Yangon, he or she will have to bear the travel cost to Yangon for the trip. Travel cost includes flight tickets and accommodation (one room). Date of Actual Trip to be within the next 6 months after winning. Aspire to Level up 2024

We held our “Aspire to Level up” event on 13th January at Park Royal Hotel. At the event, we announced the exciting activities for our Star Achievers members in 2024 and celebrated the remarkable achievements of our MDRT qualifiers in 2023. Our MDRT qualifiers shared inspiring experiences and challenges. To enhance our services and provide a seamless experience for our customers, we introduced a digital application called D-Mirai. We, Daiichi Life Myanmar, encourage and motivate our financial planners and business partners. This time, we believe we have empowered and inspired them to move forwards to 2024.

4th Anniversary Celebration at Child Development Centre Dream Train

We have been providing life insurance services as a trusted insurance service provider in Myanmar, and we are excited to soon commemorate our 4th anniversary. As part of the celebration of our 4th anniversary, we have donated lunch boxes to the students of Child Development Centre Dream Train. Bancassurance Services Launch in Taunggyi

We are proud to announce that our life insurance services are now available at selected KBZ Bank branches of Taunggyi, Lashio and other cities of Shan state.  We have successfully organized a quarterly meeting between Daiichi Life and KBZ Bank’s management team and branch managers at the KBZ Taunggyi Branch.  By combining Daiichi Life’s 121 years of life insurance experience with KBZ Bank’s extensive network and customer base, we are committed to delivering the best Bancassurance service to the people of Myanmar through our trusted bancassurance partner, KBZ Bank.

Wealth in Health

With the celebration of achievements by our Business Partners and Financial Planners from the previous quarter’s performance, we unveiled “Mg Kan Htoo,” our first mascot of Daiichi Life Myanmar, at our mid-year kickoff event themed “Wealth in Health” at Meliá Yangon Hotel on 7 July 2023. As a symbol of perseverance and commitment, Mg Kan Htoo represents the cultural infusion of Japan’s traditional doll, Daruma, and our childhood favorite, Pyit Taing Htaung. During the event, we also gave a sneak peek of our upcoming insurance service, which we aim to prioritize the health and well-being of the people of Myanmar.

1st Year Partnership Anniversary Celebration with MOB Bank

On May 27th, Daiichi Life Myanmar and Myanmar Oriental Bank held an event to celebrate their first-year anniversary with MOB Bank. During the event, Daiichi Life and MOB Bank both celebrated their one-year accomplishments, recognized and awarded individuals who achieved excellent results. We have been successfully offering life insurance products in Myanmar for over three years, thanks to the support of partners. Myanmar Oriental Bank is one of our key business partners, and we, Daiichi Life Myanmar, would like to express our gratitude and pride to them for assisting us in providing quality life insurance products to our valued customers in just one year. We are excited to strengthen our partnership with Myanmar Oriental Bank in order to continue providing better life insurance services in Myanmar in the coming years.

Building the Future For Women in Life Insurance​

To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2023, the “On Her Journey” Discussion and Dialogue program was organized by BPW (Business Professional Women Myanmar Federation), MYANWEN (Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network), MBE (Myanmar Business Executives Association), and Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon. The event took place at Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon. We, Daiichi Life Myanmar, were delighted to be a part of this program, which aimed to provide a comprehensive experience for all levels of business and individuals, regardless of gender. We also participated in discussions and offered support under the topic of “Building the Future for Women in Life Insurance.” Aligned with our “People First” philosophy, we strive to contribute to building a better social community and provide total CARE service, along with better life insurance services for the people of Myanmar

Eco Action Relay: “Connect and Motivate Each Other” Campaign

We have successfully accomplished Eco Action Relay Project, which began in 2022, with the objectives of “Connect and Motivate Each Other”, on 10th February 2023. We were able to raise awareness on environmental conservation not only in our office but also in our community, through this campaign. Throughout this campaign, teamwork spirit and cooperation between cross-functional departments have increased among the employees of Daiichi Life Myanmar. In addition, aligning with the main objective of the campaign, “Connect and Motivate Each Other”, we have succeeded in cooperating and encouraging each other through interesting and innovative ideas. The campaign activities focused on (1) reducing the use of paper and plastic (2) saving water and electricity; and (3) sharing knowledge on environmental conservation.
